The Commercial Insights Oncology Manager will support insights generation activities for cross-brand portfolio projects and support building market research capabilities within the oncology group.

This is an excellent opportunity to see and have exposure to a variety of brands and functions.

The role will provide deep market understanding to recommend concrete inputs using primary market research (qualitative and quantitative) paired with secondary data analytics.

They will also advance capability assessment and evaluation efforts to further strengthen and enhance our internal capabilities as well as those of our external partners.

To that end, the individual in this role must be an excellent business partner and adept at driving specific project results while also keeping the broader business goals and capabilities in mind.

They must be comfortable synthesizing data from multiple sources into a coordinated picture to address brand issues and support brand planning and strategy.

They must be a hard-working champion of insights-driven strategy and objective evidence-based decision making.

This position reports to the Director for Commercial Insights Oncology within Commercial Data and Analytics (CD&A) but will work independently day-to-day with different people within CD&A as well as other functions.

Plan, design and conduct key strategic and highly complex market research programs and translate the findings into strategic and tactical recommendations that help drive Oncology Business Unit (OBU) brands success.

Turn unstructured business issues/requests into appropriate action plans and projects that result in high quality, important and concrete deliverables.

Support efforts to elevate portfolio understanding.

Examples include biomarker expression strategy and treatment algorithm evolution in various solid tumors.

Synthesize and integrate various data, research and analyses into meaningful insights while ensuring that outputs are shared in the form of compelling stories that deepen customer understanding Advance initiatives within Commercial Insights to assess, standardize, and improve existing capabilities while developing and nurturing new methods.

Prioritize research resources and track department budget to enhance impact on critical business issues and decisions.

Develop and nurture productive relationships across CD&A with the OBU cross-functional marketing team and with external insights vendors to appropriately define the business issues.

Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree Or Masters degree and 2 years of analytics, sales and / or marketing operations experience Or Bachelors degree and 4 years of analytics, sales and / or marketing operations experience Or Associates degree and 10 years of analytics, sales and / or marketing operations experience Or High school diploma / GED and 12 years of analytics, sales and / or marketing operations experience Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated outstanding strategic / critical thinking abilities and business acumen Good understanding of all consumers: payers, patients, and HCPs Analytical skills and the ability to take complex information sets and translate them to concrete outcomes Demonstrated ability to dig deep and the uncover the why (go beyond the rational) Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment Ability to balance multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously Proficient facilitation, negotiation, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Thrive Some of the vast rewards of working here As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates professional and personal growth and well-being.
