The CRG Divisional Business Manager (DBM, formerly PCG Regional Business Manager – RBM) will be the primary strategic growth partner and P&L manager for the Divisional Leader, responsible for all aspects of business management in his or her assigned region. The DBM will assume primary responsibility for monitoring, assessing, and fully understanding the health of the Division through the review of scorecards/dashboards, and the coordination of a monthly Business Unit Review (BUR) delivered to the CRG leadership team. The DBM will also partner with the Divisional Leader and Divisional Team Leadership to develop best practice strategies focused on revenue and asset growth. The DBM will take the lead on implementation of the strategies with Market Leaders by driving an annual business planning process and tracking progress. The DBM is also responsible for growing the region via partnerships with other Lines of Business (e.g., Private Bank), facilitation of FA due diligence and recruiting deals, management of trainee budget/hiring, review and approval of fee exceptions, the end-to-end management of the firm’s book transition program (from program questions through contract execution), and more. The DBM will also drive expense management within the region. The DBM also serves as a primary escalation point in the region, particularly regarding FA and Market Leader compensation. The DBM partners with all other divisional roles to set the agenda for Division meetings, and partners as needed on outreaches to individual support centers and branches to help build an affinity between the region, advisors, and staff. The DBM reports directly to the Director of CRG Divisional Network Business Management.

This role can sit in any branch location within Wells Fargo’s US Footprint.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of financial services industry experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience

Job Expectations

  • For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 9/10 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63 and 65) must be completed within a 90 or 180-day time period contingent upon number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
