Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices as well as online and digital channels.n The Rolen The Corporate Mortgage Leader is responsible for providing national strategic direction and leadership for Wells Fargo Retail Programs and growing multiple larger business segments in both Distributed and Centralized Retail.

Works with each of their Client Relationship Managers to create and execute on the strategy, goals, measurements and results for each of our mortgage programs.

Collaborates with senior sales, fulfillment and support leaders to create a plan, structure and process to optimize growth.

Responsible for driving market share and financial objectives through multiple internal referral sources and/or external clients as well as all regulatory and audit requirements for the programs.n The Corporate Mortgage Leader will lead a team of direct reports who have responsibility for various programs.

In addition to partnering with outside organizations, this leader is also responsible for collaborating with both sales and fulfillment to execute against our strategy and to drive results.

This leader will also partner with marketing to help create and communicate our value proposition.

This leader is also expected to partner across the Enterprise to grow corporate client relationships with key groups, such as Well Fargo at Work, Corporate Banking and IRT.nOverall goals include awareness, cost efficient marketing and value propositions, market share growth, integration in to our existing retail platforms, customer and client experience, and a strong focus on risk.n The Candidaten Successful candidates will possess demonstrated sales leadership capability; they will have strong interpersonal effectiveness, leadership and relationship management skills.

This leader will have a track record of success managing industry-leading risk management processes.

Leader must be strategic and have the ability to drive for results in a matrixed organization and broad-based mortgage experience or mortgage program experience.n Specifically, we seek an individual who:n Owns the strategic plan for these programs in partnership with sales, fulfillment and the Enterprise Have ultimate responsibility for driving market share and profitability nationwide through establishing and fostering relationships with multiple referral sources both external and internal Proven market and product development, strategic planning and sales expertise and experience marketing and creating business relationships with large external organizations Grows leadership talent by attracting and developing the team through an effective and disciplined talent management and development process Delivers clear reporting and success metrics for the key business drivers Strong culture of ROI
– effectively manages the cost vs the return for each program and relationship Analytic capabilities utilized to identify root cause issues/improvement opportunities, and designing approaches/programs to address those issues Demonstrated customer service orientation, both with external customers as well as internal company clients Advanced knowledge of organizational procedures, operations and applicable compliance rules and regulations Partnership, relationship and marketing efforts with internal stakeholders for program areas Strategy, structure and market penetration for the programs Be responsible for communicating the strategy, goals, measurements and results for these programs to the organization Collaborate with Distributed Retail and Centralized Retail sales As an Employee Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business.

Required Qualifications 10+ years of sales experience, marketing experience, or a combination of both 3+ years of leadership experience Other Desired Qualifications n Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services industry: compliance, risk management, audit operations, products, and regulatory environment A seasoned executive with increasing responsibility in mortgage leadership positions with emphasis in the following areas: marketing, business development, operations management or channel partnership 10+ years of business development experience or experience working with B2B relationships 10+ years’ experience developing sales and/ or marketing strategies and campaigns Experience with Relocation and Mortgage Industry Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies which capture opportunities to serve multiple customer/client segments in multiple markets (both mature and emerging markets) Demonstrated customer service orientation, both with external customers as well as internal company clients Extensive program and project management and leadership experience leading large and complex projects and change initiatives within a highly matrixed environment Demonstrated business strategic planning and execution leadership experience ensuring the organization, at all levels is aligned with the vision and objectives Extensive experience leading distributed teams in a large, highly matrixed institution Proven success achieving objectives requiring a high level of cooperation from people in other parts of the organization Strong ability to identify potential industry challenges and opportunities in order to translate those insights to implement sustainable solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas in a straight forward and understandable manner Strong partnership/collaboration skills Experience implementing large scale strategies across multiple lines of business Results orientated with strong aptitude to motivate and influence teams to accomplish business goals Ability to organize and implement multiple initiatives tied to overall strategy with systematic follow-up and communication plan Personal Attributes:n Beyond experience, the right personal style and attitude are critical to success in this role.n The Leader will be recognized as:n A true team player and collaborator, translating prior knowledge and experience into strong and productive relationships internally and externally A respected business partner who adds value to the broader team A strong and effective manager and leader, capable of attracting, mentoring, retaining and promoting talented and productive staff An impeccable reputation for integrity, accuracy, consistency, innovation, big picture orientation and business acumen Goal minded and able to motivate a team and mobilize the resources to accomplish objectives Dedicated, enthusiastic, driven and performance-oriented; possesses a strong work ethic Able to effectively and constructively lead change in an organization Job Expectations Ability to travel up to 40% of the time This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo’s compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results…..
