Content Development Manager for Motion Picture Social Media Campaign (Currently Pre-Funding; Read Important Note)

(Important: As this motion picture is currently at the development/funding stage, payment is deferred until financing is procured.

See below for details.)

Realm Pictures is a startup motion picture production company founded by industry

veterans.

We’re creating spectacularly diverse blockbuster entertainment while breaking brilliant undiscovered talent and financially endowing America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities with high-level profit participation in our current motion picture.

Our flagship film, now in development, is Steal Away, a sweeping post-Civil War drama based on Andrew Ward’s critically acclaimed “Dark Midnight When I Rise.” Steal Away is the true story of the legendary Ella Sheppard and The Fisk Jubilee Singers, a sensational choir of young former slaves fighting the KKK’s reign of terror against their schools not with bullets or bombs but electrifying songs of faith and freedom.

Steal Away follows their titanic rise from the darkness of slavery to the glittering ballrooms and throne rooms of Europe as they conquer the world… and must then conquer their own demons.

A breathtaking epic, Steal Away will feature a diverse international cast, the strongest African-American female lead ever onscreen, a soundtrack by a multi-Grammy winning composer, and a powerful story of hope, redemption and race reconciliation.

(See project info at RealmPictures.co)

As our production team works to get Steal Away financed and prepares to launch a global casting call, we’re looking to bring on a Content Campaign Manager.

The Content Campaign Manager’s role will be to strategically oversee every aspect of the movie’s social media campaign, including managing the creation and social media release of new content on a daily basis.

This role requires no prior social media experience (you’ll be trained as needed), nor any proficiency in content writing.

Unlike many social media campaigns, this campaign will not involve writing a lot of original content.

Our social media posts will focus mainly on movie-centered content such as script excerpts, graphic designs of characters, storyboards, video clips, Zoom meetings with the filmmakers, etc.

Much of this content (such as the script) already exists, but will need to be broken down into lines of dialogue, beats, and scenes to be consistently released on social media.

You would also work with various artists on an ongoing basis to create graphic designs, storyboards, etc.

for social media release.

Very strong logistical and management skills, as well as having a strong creative eye are musts; this is both a right-brain and left-brain position.

Overarchingly, you would be the chief mastermind that designs, plans, schedules, and oversees this department.

Just as a newspaper editor ensures that the newspaper goes to press with solid content every day, so does this role involve pushing scintillating content out via TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter that is consistent with Realm’s brand on a daily basis.

Fasten your seat belt
– this will be ambitious and challenging work.

Because we’re a small (but passionate) team working to move mountains, the work will be high-volume and high-velocity.

Passion, stamina, patience, and above all the willingness to think out of the box to challenge conventional wisdom and create spectacular results are musts.

This is a fully remote position, and does not require exclusivity.

It has the strong potential to expand into the production of the motion picture.

Compensation:

As Steal Away is currently pre-funding, payment will not be upfront, but will commence once the movie is financed.

The base compensation is $100,000, plus high-level profit participation, the details of which will be discussed during interviews and detailed in the employment contract.
