*Compensation and Benefits Manager (Remote)* **This is a remote position with up to 25% travel required.
Travel will include trips to our San Francisco headquarters, Hair Color Bar hubs across the country, and other events.
** The Compensation and Benefits Manager for Madison Reed will be responsible for hands-on oversight and administration of benefits & compensation.
Madison Reed will look to the Compensation and Benefits Manager to make recommendations on company benefits, annual renewals, rewards, and recognition programs as well as HRIS programs for all our locations nationwide.
*What you will do:* * Design, evaluate and modify benefit policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements.
Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop a competitive compensation plan.
* Fulfill all reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations, including the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
* Direct preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits, compensation, and personnel policies.
Manage the design and development of tools to assist employees in benefits selection, and to guide managers through compensation decisions.
* Compensation Program Design, develop and manage the delivery of employee salary structures for all areas within Madison Reed.
* Collaboration with internal business partners & stakeholders ensuring compliance & state legal requirements are met.
* Develop a corporate framework for employee incentives; identify and respond to the needs of internal stakeholders; specify which employee groups are eligible for incentives and the incentive design parameters; ensure compliance with external regulatory and legal requirements.
* Develop and manage the delivery of annual and long-term Madison Reed executive compensation programs.
* Review Annual Compensation and Benefits Plan, deliver the annual review; propose review objectives based on HR insights; coordinate the activities of colleagues across the HR function; brief and oversee the activities of external platform providers; monitor outcomes and propose remedial actions where appropriate.
* Contribute to the development and testing of HR data collection forms or questionnaires in areas of expertise to ensure the collection of relevant data.

*What you will need:* * 6+ years of compensation and benefits experience within a multi unit or national organization.
* Bachelor's degree.
* Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and oversee compensation and benefit activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
* Comprehensive knowledge and skill designing and implementing equitable, market-based and cost-effective reward and recognition systems.
* Provide guidance and training developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
* Provides technical guidance when required, analyzing data trends, creation of reports to help guide decision making.
* Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, experience with HRIS systems.
