Community Manager, Brand Social

We’re looking for a Community Manager to join xx Artists’ rapidly growing team. As a Community Manager, you will manage owned posts across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube for a series of major brands and identify organic opportunities for them to engage with on these channels. You will report to the Senior Director, Brand, or their designees, and work in conjunction with XX’s YouTube team.

 

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about the Internet, YouTube content and has a deep knowledge of creators and digital trends. Strong writing skills are required and you must be able to distill the information down into very few words, offering clear, concise, and appealing copy that fits into a respective brand’s voice and tone. Creativity (and humor) is a huge plus. 

You must be detail-oriented, self-sufficient and creative. You must be passionate about delivering superior customer service, at all times. 

This role functions M-F business hours, in addition to some select evenings and weekends. XX Artists company benefits currently include competitive health and vision package, 401K matching, and paid time off.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience writing for social media, digital video, email, and blog posts.
  • Excellent writing skills that reflect a brand’s objectives and current cultural trends.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail with an ability to quality check and approve written content.
  • Passion for digital culture and writing online.
  • An understanding of social media audiences and communication styles on each platform, specifically YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, TikTok (and others). An idea of how to speak directly to these respective audiences is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of the Internet, YouTube content, and online creators.
  • Professional, personable, and fun personality with a passion for building lasting relationships with clients.
  • Proficient in Google tools including GMail and Google services (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, creative, and social environment.
  • The ability to work alone, producing multiple copy options from client prompts.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Monitoring and engaging with all owned social handles and posts across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube. 
  • Crafting and writing copy for engagement opportunities.
  • Flagging and escalating comments, replies, or mentions that fall outside of partner’s brand guidelines. 
  • Social listening for partners and finding proactive engagement opportunities from users mentioning the brand. 
  • Offer suggestions and direction for editorial content for partner’s handles based on social listening and proactive engagements. 

Necessary Experience

  • Social media copywriting, and/or general writing experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Gmail and Google tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
  • Must have a laptop and phone.
  • Must have a valid passport.

Preferred Experience

  • At least 1-3 years experience in social media.
  • Knowledge of and passion for current online culture, content, and trends.
  • Knowledge of and passion for YouTube and online talent.
  • Experience working independently as well as in team environments.
