We’re looking for a seasoned Communications Manager and expert storyteller who will play an integral role in crafting strong, concise and meaningful narratives for the brand.
The Communications Manager is responsible for creating and executing internal and external communication strategies that aligns with the brand’s tone of voice and helps drive awareness.
Duties include writing copy for internal and external communication channels, fostering media relationships and assisting with community management messaging.
Key Responsibilities: Write copy as needed for social channels, e-commerce, marketing assets, press releases, pitches, and more Collaborate and partner with other internal departments to ensure messaging consistency and alignment Create and review community management communication plans with Social Media and Customer Service teams Create and execute strategic PR/Communications campaigns that increase brand awareness Collaborate with other divisions including Influencer Marketing, Social Media and E-Commerce teams to ensure maximum efficiency and deliver comprehensive marketing plans Track, organize and report key metrics monthly, quarterly and as needed Be immersed in emerging trends to develop creative and compelling ideas that help keep our brand on the cutting edge of public conversation and provide inspiration Identify new ways to story tell in the digital space to reach target audiences Stay up to date with news within the health and wellness space Strategically evaluate communications opportunities, understanding risks and benefits to the brand Qualifications: 3 years of experience in a similar role Bachelor’s Degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field Experience working within the CPG, fitness, or health and wellness industry is ideal Creative storyteller with exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Expert copy writer with strong writing samples Motivated self-starter with a hands-on attitude and exceptionally deadline oriented Strong networking skills and desire to build relationships with media Highly organized, detail oriented and can thrive in a fast-paced environment Collaborative, strategic thinker, and resourceful problem-solver Ability to shift priorities based on needs as well as balance short and long-term priorities Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Cision, and Outlook Location: Remote Compensation and benefits Competitive salary Eligible for yearly bonus Benefits – health, dental and vision 401(k) with employer match PTO and paid holidays Exclusive employee perks
