They will manage Team Members and the process for delivering quality service to all Guests within the restaurant.
A Restaurant Assistant Manager will adhere to Cinemarks brand standards for timeliness, accuracy, guest service, and experience!
A Day in the Life of a Restaurant Assistant Manager:The essential duties and responsibilities of a Restaurant Assistant Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:Trains and coaches Team Members to serve food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely mannerInteracts verbally with Guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphereCompletes assigned administrative functionsEnsures cash handling procedures are completed according to company and brand policyManages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and regulationsConducts regular inventory and ordering as necessaryAccepts and audits deliveriesAdheres to budgets, increasing profits through cost managements and sales growthHandles complex and challenging customer service scenariosEnsures that Team Members follow the dress codeLearns and follows the policies and procedures as established in Cinemarks Guidelines.
Enforces these with all staff fairly and consistentlyReports all Employee relations issues to the General Manager and/or Restaurant General Manager (In the absence of the GM/RGM, management should report Employee relations issues to www.Convercent.Com)All management members must follow the Employee Relations Reporting ProtocolAll management members are held at a high work ethic standard and code of conductLeads or attends a mandatory Shift Huddle (team discussion) at the start of or during a shiftConducts Wellness Checks on staff on a daily basisPerforms the functions of Chief Clean & Safety Monitor during ashift, if assignedConsistently identifies and sanitizeshigh contact areas within and aroundthedining area (restaurant,lounge,bar,auditorium,andpatioareas)Consistentlyensuresand promotes adherence of proper social distancing guidelinesProperly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment while completing position-specific tasksAdapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasksProperly addresses any safety or security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.)Performs other work-related duties as assigned What You Will Need to Have:Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh School or G.E.D.
graduate preferredMinimum of 1-2 years of restaurant supervisory experience preferredCompletion of three basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, and MAP Core) within Cinemarks Management Accreditation ProgramCompletes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where requiredManagement members who work with alcohol are required to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training programAvailability to work flexible hours which include evenings, weekends, and holidaysRequires regular and consistent attendanceHas an energetic and friendly attitude during each shiftProvides excellent Guest serviceAccurate cash handling and basic math skillsInterpersonal skills include the ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all ages, genders, and personalities.
