Chassis Relationship Manager

Responsibilities Altec Midwest is looking for their next Chassis Relationship Manager, to be located in St.

Joseph, MO.

This individual will manager all new and current chassis business to ensure growth of existing and new accounts in North America.

The manager will lead the efforts and set the stage to put Altec in the best position when purchasing chassis.

– Teamwork Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required A degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management preferred 3 years applicable experience required Basic understanding of truck chassis and related equipment required.

Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint required Current valid Driver’s License required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to work with and lead a team Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, potentially on short notice, which may include flying Responsibilities Be the subject matter expert for chassis solutions and support both internal and external customers on all chassis requirements, including but not limited to: sales meetings, new product updates, targeted trainings, trade shows, customer meetings, bid packages Negotiate chassis supplier agreements, allocation, pricing and maintain relationships Manage and forecast rebate/incentive reports & reconcile actual dollars received and report to management team Work with cross functional teams or other departments to effectively communicate chassis updates to affected parties, sometimes including executive management Develop goals and projects to help the team achieve strategic initiatives as outlined in Chassis Roadmap Lead and develop a team of sales and quoting associates Altec Industries, Inc.
