The Channel Manager wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners.

While the Channel Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners, they will be focused on selling Ecogy’s “Virtual Products” and “Financial Products” which are both SAS based energy products.

The Channel Manager reports to the Director of Sales.

Responsibilities: Channel Partners include but not limited to Roofing companies, Contractors/EPC companies, Energy Consultants Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements Set and meet targets for channel KPIs, including in-service volume and project durations Define, track, and continue to refine activity metrics that correlate to KPI attainment (ex: touches, training certifications, pipeline review meetings, etc.) Education & Qualifications: Experience Selling Software and/or financial in particular energy related SAS Knowledge of Data Acquisition Systems, DERMS, and other related Energy software Knowledge of renewable energy financing structures and offerings 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or related role Aptitude to effectively communicate with peers, senior management, and partners Dynamic communicator who easily creates relationships with outside partners to effectively influence behavior Ability to effectively and accurately transmit, receive and interpret data through the application of appropriate communication behaviors Experience in managing internal projects with multiple stakeholders Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint SFDC) Strong organizational skills Strong creative and strategic planning skills Confident personality with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and tight deadlines, able to work in a concise, clear, and focused manner Strong organizational skills and the ability to log and categorize all correspondence Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change, must be a conceptual thinker Deep solar and solar financing process/product knowledge is a plus About us: Ecogy Energy was founded as a developer, financier and owner-operator of distributed generation resources in 2010 with our first project for Longwood Gardens, the nation’s largest botanical garden.

Since then, we have found our niche specializing in financing distributed generation assets for traditionally underserved entities including affordable housing, non-profits and municipalities.

and the Caribbean.
