Job Description:
Our law firm needs an experienced Legal Assistant to serve as the liaison between medical providers and clients. As the assigned Legal Assistant, we are looking for a friendly individual who genuinely enjoys being around people and who can manage multiple tasks at once.
Responsibilities:
(The responsibilities are not limited to but include)
- Handling all types of pre-litigation cases including auto VS. auto, dog bite, slip and fall, premise, pedestrian, and government claims.
- Opening claims, sending representation letters, setting clients up with medical providers and managing appointments, running policy limits, requesting police reports, sending D.M.V. documents, requesting medical records, bills, and confirming medical balances.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and understands the importance of responding quickly to the needs of the clients.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish – (Preferred)
- Full-time availability – (M – F)
- Minimum of 2 years of case management experience in the field of personal injury
- Must be good at multitasking
