This role directs the daily operation of the team by implementing and ensuring compliance with Freeman operational policies and procedures. This position requires very strong people leadership, communication, and technical skills.Essential Duties & Responsibilities* Directly supervise all full-time, part-time, and contingent technical specialists to include management of: Scheduling, Payroll, Performance Appraisals, Safety Policies, Expense Reports, Customer Service and Operational Polices.* Act as a liaison between Sales and Operations in communicating information and providing technical expertise.* Assist Sales in preparing bids and specifying proper equipment and labor.* Promotes motivation, communication, teamwork and positive attitude between all personnel and customers.* Develops plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and labor.* Modifies operating procedures and project management programs to maintain and enhance the profitable usage of resources.* Assists team as needed during very heavy activity.* Assists the Director – Scenic and Content Solutions with planning for the following: training, cost reductions, assembling budget, replacing personnel, changing vendors, etc.* Works with Human Resources in preparing and updating job descriptions for all positions within the departments supervised.* Keep abreast of industry technology.* Enforce company guidelines for training and documentation.Education & Experience* Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or 4 years college/technical trade school and 4 years of experience: or High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience (8 years)* Minimum (7) seven years of related experience within event production* Minimum (5) five years of related experience working as an executive producer and/or media producer.* Working knowledge of multiple types of video editing solutionsDiversity CommitmentAt Freeman, our commitment to diversity and inclusion is helping us to create not only a great place to work, but also an environment where our employees, our customers and our communities around the world can reach their goals and connect with each other.
