More importantly, everyone who works here is empowered to quickly bring new possibilities to life.Position: Associate Director, Mobile StrategyLocation: Los Angeles (Playa Vista), CADivision/Department: Digital / MobileReports to: Director, Mobile StrategyJob Summary: This role drives development of client mobile business and develops and cultivates key partnerships to grow Canvas Worldwide’s capabilities and visibility.Main Duties and Responsibilities: Digital Group Focus: Serves as an expert on mobile marketing and buying practices and thought leader on emerging opportunitiesTransfers knowledge, best practices, and vision for buying approaches, analytics and tracking, day-to-day operational management, mobile channel allocation, emerging opportunities and new partnershipsMonitors campaign delivery and provides daily and/or weekly and/or monthly counsel ondigital strategyMobile marketing and buying expertCoordinates with Sr.

Management and other ADs to share insight on pricing trends,research, campaign learnings, client and vendor relationships and processEducates internal teams and clients on the mobile landscapeConsistently bring new media and technology ideas to team for application/brainstormingManagement and morale buildingOptimize people and resource managementActing as a mentor and providing conduits for professional growth among the teamRecognizing and developing individual growth via Performance CoachActively involved in education of internal and external teams on mobile capabilitiesParticipation in new businessCollaboration with internal brand strategy and activation groups for planningClient and External Partnership Focus: Drives development of client’s mobile businessDevelops and cultivates key partnerships to grow capabilities and visibilityActive participation at conferences and on industry panels, speaking events, and committeesOversee submission for awards and industry case studiesSupervisory Responsibilities: Oversees Mobile Media Planners.Knowledge and Skills Required: Key Behavioral Competencies: Organized, with a strong ability to multi-taskExtremely strong communication skills, both written and oralExtremely strong presentation skillsTrue passion for media and, especially, the mobile arenaBackground: BA/BS requiredMinimum 5+ years of experience in interactive media, marketing, and team management that includes progressiveresponsibilitiesMedia and Financial Services industry experience is preferredExpert in AdService Technologies, ie, MediaMind, Medialets and DFAProficient in Rich Media technologyExcellent writer/verbal communication and effective problem solving skillsExceptional eye for detail/organizational skillsProven experience developing persuasive presentationsAbility to prioritize and multi-taskAbility to conduct comprehensive client-facing researchAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-pace environmentJob Type: Full-timeExperience:Interactive Media, Marketing, and Team Management: 5 years (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)
