Business Operations Manager

The Business Operations Manager will be responsible for compiling & analyzing data to support initiatives of the Sales Operations, Product, Technology, Program Management and Strategy teams.

This position will require close coordination with Business Units, Regional Sales Teams, and Technology Directors across the group as well as constant interaction with the Office of the COO team and the business unit leaders.

This position is currently remote in nature but may return to an in-person or hybrid work arrangement in the future.

What you will do:

Business Cases – work with the Business Unit leads and the Product and Technology teams to develop business cases for the development of new products, building upon the knowledge of others (engineering, marketing business planning, finance) and driving cross-group alignment on product development, portfolio priorities, with a clear definition of success.

Business Case Modeling
– work with product and technology teams to develop innovative business techniques, models, and optimization of utilization exercises.

Providing insights, including use cases, alternatives, and pain points

Business Strategies
– reviewing and recommending improvements or options to new and existing product strategies.

Prepare financial reports as requested by the stakeholders to support strategic planning, product development, and portfolio management.

Business Projects
– coordinate business projects with product managers, establish/support product managers with modeling, vendor research/discussions, and strategic frameworks

Pricing
– work with the Product team & Sales Operations to produce product pricing models.

Monitor industry/market pricing trends to identify and recommend adjustments or modifications.

Pricing and Market Trends
– identify and review pricing and market trends; analyze and apply this information in development of business case/strategy for products and their market segments.

What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or have equivalent experience or advanced degree
* 4+ years experience in a project, business operations, or portfolio management role
* 1+ year experience in a financial management/analysis or other quantitative analysis role
* Demonstrated track record of success in business planning, organizational development, or product life cycles
* Ability to successfully build, analyze and critique business cases and financial models
* Strong executive presence, cross-group collaboration and communication skills that drive influence among senior leaders across a highly matrixed organization
