Overview: Our long-term client relationship with NASA has led to a need for a Business Manager on the Human Space Flight Technical Integration (HSFTIC) contract at Johnson Space Center (Houston, TX).
HSFTIC supports multiple human spaceflight programs by providing products and services for mission and program technical integration activities.
This includes the necessary infrastructure functions for the International Space Station (ISS), Orion and Gateway programs, with the potential for supporting additional human spaceflight programs or projects via task orders.

(SGT) / KBRwyle on the Integrated Mission Operations Contract II (IMOC II) contract at JSCKBRwyle on the Fully Integrated Lifecycle Mission Support Services (FILMSS) contract at Ames Research Center Responsibilities: The Business Manager will: Provide business management oversight and leadership to Engineering Directorate Power and Propulsion Division.Support the implementation of Planning Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) guidelines; operating plans, Technical, Cost and Schedule reviews; Internal Task Agreements (ITAs); and monthly budget reviews.Perform a cross-division analysis to ensure that proposed new tasks/projects align with the JSC/Engineering Directorate/AFMD strategic plan by interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.Formulate variance assessments, trend analysis, trade-offs, and other analysis necessary to completely substantiate budget/funding requirements.Perform funding, financial performance and/or budget analyses in support of special internal or external directorate inquiries.Provide detailed analysis of budget report and develop new or non-standard reports.Manage task orders by collecting the requirements, schedule, and product deliverables from the task order owner and entering the information into the appropriate NASA systems.Document and track associated funding threats and risks.
Provide an assessment of End of Year (EOY) Projections and projected carryout.Perform all other assigned duties.
Qualifications: Required Education/Experience/Skills: Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of budget/schedule experience; additional relevant education may be substituted for progressive experience.Experience with budget tracking, forecasting, and cost analysis.Ability to communicate and present financial report and budget status to senior management.Strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of project financial management principles and best practices.Advanced excel skills.Proficient in Microsoft Suite Application Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).Ability to communicate well, both verbally and written.Detail oriented and ability to prioritize multiple tasks with tight deadlines.Ability to work in a team environment and with minimal supervision.Demonstrated multi-tasking skills.
Preferences: Experience with managing cost accounts & project codes, track actual and forecast cost, contractor financial 533 reporting.Familiarity with Government budgeting process, budgeting, financial and project control.Experience with supporting NASA Integration Team and integration of large data sets.Experience with NASA Financial System/Database such as Business Warehouse, SPICE, SAFE, ORBIT, and NASA contracts are a plus.Experience presenting to high level management.
