About This Role
Crexi is looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to provide valuable insights on our rapidly growing company.
This role will be leveraging data from multiple sources to drive product and business decisions.
As a BI Manager, you will be part of a broader cross functional team and will be a key member in: defining KPIs, owning the creation of dashboards that will highlight actionable insights and be an expert of our data platforms
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for leveraging data from multiple sources to drive cross departmental decisions
- Part of a broader cross functional team and will be a key member in: defining KPIs, owning the creation of dashboards that will highlight actionable insights, analyzing historical and predicting future performance and leveraging data to provide strategic recommendations and insights to the leadership team
- Use data to drive actionable insights and business objectives across all parts of Crexi
- Work cross-functionally with all departments within Crexi on data driven objectives, including: Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance
- Partner with leadership to define and analyze key metrics to drive short and long term goals
- Define and execute analytical queries that identify key opportunities to improve customer value and user engagement, sales and marketing, revenue, margin, costs, customer lifetime value, and other business areas
- Support the launch of new product features from research to release and facilitate measurement of existing features (e.g.
funnel analysis, cohort analysis, retention analysis)
- Leverage data to determine areas of improvement of existing businesses and processes
- Assist in the development of business cases for new company initiatives using departmental KPIs
- Be a subject matter expert of our key measurements and data platforms
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support product and company decisions
- Work both independently and collaboratively to deliver creative analytical solutions to complex problems
- Architect and develop internal KPI reporting processes to provide leadership with reporting and insight necessary to drive intelligent, sound decision-making
- Design and deliver monthly and quarterly performance dashboards and analytics
- Deliver routine updates on the performance of user/customer base to the executive team
Who You Are
- 3-5 years experience in an analytical role
- Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical field (e.g.
Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data and providing business insights
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Excel, Powerpoint or similar tools
- Experience with product analytics tools (e.g.
Mixpanel, Amplitude)
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker
- Persuasive communicator and effective in soliciting and accepting feedback
- You are respected by your team by exhibiting great leadership and doing great work
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with programming using tools such as Python, R, Matlab, SPSS or SAS
- Prior statistical modeling and machine learning experience
- Prior experience building data pipelines
