POSITION | Westlake Portfolio Management (WPM) – Business Development
Our WPM Business Development Manager will be managing, growing and assisting
operations in Westlake Portfolio Management.
Westlake Financial Services was incorporated in 1988 however is has been operating since
1978. Since 2018, Westlake Portfolio Management (“WPM”) has serviced over $1 billion in
auto loan receivables. As of 2021, WPM is the fastest growing company in the entire Hankey
Group. Our current servicing relationships include Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Fortress,
Flexpoint Capital, Citi Bank, Marubeni and more.
DUTIES, TASKS, RESPONSIBILTIES (include, but not limited to)
? Source new partnerships for 3rd party servicing & backup servicing opportunities.
? Source opportunities for portfolio acquisitions that coincide with a servicing relationship.
? Help establish WPM as a primary servicer for leasing and credit unions loans nationwide.
? Work with Westlake Marketing to create brand awareness for WPM within the 3rd party
servicing space.
? Assist WPM with launching new products, specifically servicing of other asset classes.
? Must be able to travel nationwide up to 1 week a month. (Average 3 – 4 days per trip) –
Pending COVID & travel restrictions
? Assist with managing existing portfolio and lender relationships.
? Act as the primary point of contact for all client interactions, working with variety of team
members to ensure a timely response to all client requests.
? Build strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, vendors and Westlake team
members.
? Assist with preparing monthly servicer reports with our partners.
? Work directly with WPM VP to forecast and manage all new and potential servicing
opportunities.
? Work directly with IT to facilitate the transfer of Backup Servicing opportunities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES
? In-depth knowledge of collections and account servicing in the auto finance industry.
? Strong Excel skills required.
? Presentation skills (from initial creation to delivery)
EDUCATION
? Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; Focus on Math, Finance, and/or
Economics
EXPERIENCE
? 2 years or more of B2B Business Development, auto industry experience preferred
? Salesforce, application development experience preferred.
