Business Development Manager

System1 is seeking a self-motivated, dynamic individual to join as a Business Development Manager for the lead generation and comparison reviews business line. As the Business Development Manager , your knowledge of online marketing will help our client’s businesses grow. Your strong analytical and organizational skills will be a key cog in developing our partnership strategy while your strong interpersonal communication skills will help drive business development opportunities for the business line. 

The Role You Will Have:

  •  Prospect for new advertisers and publishers
  • Onboard new partners, oversee account setup and manage day-to-day communication
  • Work closely within the cross functional team (online acquisition, content, analytics, product, legal, etc.) to lead the development and management of specific online categories
  • Manage and negotiate agreements with our partners
  • Meet or exceed your quarterly revenue and profitability targets
  • Provide dedicated account management to strategic accounts, managing partnerships and campaigns
  • Understand client KPIs and goals while consulting with each partner to grow within their desired metrics
  • Continually develop industry knowledge and grow professionally
  • Travel to trade shows, conferences and client offices for networking and partnership meetings.

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum 3-5 years with proven track record in performance media sales and account management with senior executives
  • Strong knowledge of Online Advertising such as AdWords, Google Analytics, SEO, SEM Retargeting, Affiliate Marketing and Lead Generation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to scale across all levels of an organization
