Brand Director – Remote Available

As the Brand Director for Helium 10, you are responsible for creating a strategic vision and executing a plan to both create and build brand awareness and usage.

Community engagement is a key ingredient to the Helium 10 brand success and we want to ensure that our brand strategy builds on our community and continues to engage our users with compelling storytelling and content in a cohesive way through multiple touchpoints.

Who are you?

You thrive in a fast-paced (preferably tech or SaaS) environment, love to collaborate and ideate cross-functionally and can think both short and long-term.

This position must deeply understand our Amazon e-commerce landscape and various customer cohorts to be able to hit customers with the right brand messaging at various parts of their user journey.

Being able to think creatively about big picture top-of-funnel messaging and activities will be key as well as understanding the competitive landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and manage a cohesive brand strategy and vision that will ultimately lead to both higher brand awareness and an increase in subscriber base.

Increase Amazon and Helium 10 awareness from our TAM (total addressable market) by focusing on upper funnel marketing activities and positioning strategies.
Develop ongoing Evergreen campaigns to build a broad market awareness and be able to incorporate messaging to our various channels.
Create a cohesive messaging and creative strategy for our various customer segments
– understand subtle differences and be able to create targeted and holistic messaging that speaks to our TAM.
Lead customer analysis and research
– both quantitative and qualitative
– and develop approach to develop insight-driven recommendations for engaging content and messaging (lead magnets, webinars, video, trainings, etc).
Keen understanding of competitive landscape
– have a hunger to be the top of our category.
Understand Social and Content landscape and be able to use community to effective communicate brand vision and value.
Write compelling briefs and be able to articulate vision and plans to internal stakeholders
– including direct reports, cross-functional departments, and executive team.
Partner with Growth, Product, PMM, and Creative teams to help drive strategies and messaging.
Lead PR efforts, including managing industry accolades/awards, developing industry relationships and increasing visibility at industry events and trade shows.
Champion larger brand initiatives including partnerships, market expansion and content strategy.

Requirements:

7-10 years of Brand Management and/or Brand/Product Marketing experience (tech or Saas a strong plus).

E-commerce brand experience in a high-growth environment preferred.
Track record of leading and scaling brands and understanding customer lifecycle, resulting in a measurable increase of brand awareness and revenue increases.
Experience leading, mentoring, and motivating teams and being able to persuade at all levels of the organization.
Excellent communication skills
– both written and verbal.
Deep understanding of digital and traditional marketing approaches and how to blend both cohesively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment with a knack for being able to pivot seamlessly while staying focused.
Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Intellectual curiosity and strong critical thinking and business acumen skills.
Ability to creatively problem solve in a cross-functional environment.
