Boutique Manager

n n nn The Boutique Manager contributes to The Bouqs’ mission of revolutionizing the way we commemorate life’s moments by coordinating and directing the successful, efficient, and profitable operation of the store in order to achieve The Bouqs Retail business objectives.  nn nn This position requires strong interpersonal and communications skills, business acumen, and an entrepreneurial spirit that exercises creative and resourceful decision making and independent judgement to affect business in impactful ways and ensure the store operates in the best interest of the company while maximizing potential.

The Store Manager reports directly to the VP Retail, with key relationships to the Retail Corporate Team.

The Store & Manager manages the entire store’s staff and provides thoughtful leadership to each employee.

The Store Manager works with each employee to achieve goals and serves as an advocate on behalf of the needs of the store in all HQ communications and functions that impact the store.

nn nResponsibilities:n Leading by example and setting a standard of excellence in leadership and personal accountability in all actions taken and words spoken daily.

Daily participation in all operational aspects of the store; sales, clienteling, cashiering, visual standards and inventory operations.  Showcasing infectious enthusiasm for, knowledge, and understanding of the Bouqs Brand, brand history, product and cross channel offerings.

Driving plans to exceed daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales targets and key performance indicator (KPI) goals.

Clearly communicates goals and strategies to employees.

Holding self and employees accountable for meeting productivity expectations.

Elevating the customer service experience within the store.

Ensures that all customer grievances are addressed promptly and in alignment with company policies and that team members are coached on and supported on issue resolution.

Communicating company directives, policies, and guidelines in a clear, positive, and effective manner to ensure they are understood.  Ensuring the timely execution of all merchandising and visual initiatives according to HQ direction.

Providing feedback to the Corporate Retail Team regarding merchandising needs of the store based on trends and market analysis.

Overseeing the interviewing, on-boarding, and training processes for new hires.

Managing the store’s succession planning and identifying, recognizing, and developing talented and committed employees.  Monitoring employee performance, evaluations, and training needs within the store to ensure that all employees have the opportunity to succeed and grow.

Ensuring all operational tools and requirements necessary to open and close the store are available and these duties are performed accurately each day.

Ensuring an accurate inventory and the timely completion of all inventory related tasks, procedures, and operations.

Acts as a liaison representing The Bouqs within the community.  nQualifications:n 3 years of experience in a retail setting, 2 years within leadership roles.

Able to work at least 40 hours per week including early mornings and evenings The ability to work during the Vacation Blackout Policy dates.

Including all weekend days in December Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills Knowledgeable with retail systems and a strong understanding of retail math and KPIs The ability to engage and motivate teams, and to work collaboratively with colleagues Flexibility and experience in managing multiple strategic and operational business functions Ability to work with live floral product Ability to lift up to lift/move 30 lbs.
