The role will include forming and leading a team of experienced talent acquisition professionals, initially based in US and India, delivering recruiting services across all Boeings business units and maintaining relationships with key business partners across the globe.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the delivery of best-in-class talent acquisition services to the organization.

Job DescriptionThe Software Engineering Talent Acquisition Leader will lead talent attraction and recruiting for Boeings global Software Engineering function.

In this position the successful candidate will build and develop a team of highly skilled recruiters, create an organizational model that enables alignment and continuity with our Software Engineering leaders, will drive recruiting team performance and deliver the best talent to the company.

Partnering closely with other Senior Talent Acquisition Managers and Executives, Total Rewards, Human Resources, People Analytics, Recruitment Advertising and Communications, will be vital to build the right infrastructure to support our Software Engineering Recruiters.

Exceptional leadership skills and a passion for driving innovation to find the best talent in the market will be necessary for success.

Position Responsibilities:Lead a team of global, geographically dispersed, full lifecycle Software Engineering recruitersEffectively deploy team resources, provide direction and set goals to help the team achieve successful hiring outcomesDevelop and implement innovative and proactive talent acquisition plans and strategiesLead, manage and coach recruiting team members and drive exceptional team performanceCreate and maintain pipelines of software engineering candidates that are rich in diversityCreate a culture of listening, speaking up and providing feedback across the teamUtilize data to effectively manage team priorities, create hiring strategies and direct investmentsPartner with key stakeholders to pro-actively understand workforce planning and forecasting activitiesEstablish positive relationships across the business, providing strategic guidance and making recommendations to leaders to enhance the acquisition of talent.Provide special care to candidate flow and the health of candidate pipelinesSeek continuous improvement to candidate, hiring leader and recruiter experiences as well as the hiring process and the way we workModel the Boeing Values; promote diversity and inclusion and ensure all team members feel engaged, motivated, developed and recognized.Set high expectations for team performance and ensure outstanding candidate and customer experience This position allows telecommuting.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Experience in a formal people leadership role with responsibility for the talent acquisition practices of attracting, engaging and hiring Software Engineers10+ years of successful recruiting experience5+ years in a people leadership and management roleExtensive experience working in talent acquisition in US and multinational companiesExperience partnering with executives and hiring leaders with an emphasis on service delivery and building a true business partnershipStrong data analysis skills, able to interpret and leverage multiple data sources and effectively communicate relevant information to partnersExceptional influencing skills and ability to guide decisionsCapability to solve complex problems, design creative hiring strategies and drive significant value into the organization.Deep knowledge of industry best practices, key performance indicators and a track record of achieving team hiring goals Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree preferredDemonstration of business acumenCoaching skills necessary to help team members develop their capabilities and reach their full potentialComfort dealing with ambiguity and able to quickly shift focus on changing business needsDetail oriented with the ability to simplify and frame information with the bigger picture in mindExceptional communication skills in setting clear priorities and direction for your teamExperience managing projects/ programs from beginning to end, planning and executionExperience working and excelling in a fast-paced, dynamic and growth focused environmentExperience with Workday Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
