The Modelling & Simulation Manager willsupport the Sustainability & Future Mobility (S&FM) team in development of sustainable technologies across Boeing products and services with the goal of implementing innovation to help reach Boeings sustainability goals.
The role will work with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, manage team performance & resources as well as provide leadership and project management on strategic initiatives.
Position ResponsibilitiesLead development of scope of work and execution of modeling and simulation work statement focused on product & services environmental impactsIncorporate modeling expertise and work product from partner organizations into S& FM workProvide technical oversight to S& FM modeling and simulationSupport development of S& FM model-based technology roadmapProvides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas and organizations to achieve an integrated productDevelops Statement of Work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirementsWorks with stakeholders to obtain approvalIdentifies and manages changes to statement of work and assesses the impact of those changes, and incorporates changes into statement of workLeads project execution to complete the work statementsIdentifies performance metricsPlans, identifies and coordinates resources required over the life of the project or programAssigns responsibility for activities to team members and ensures technical correctness and consistency of products and servicesCompares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learnedIdentifies corrective actions to improve project or team performanceProvides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry3+ years of experience in leading projects and/or engineering teamsExperience working in a distributed environment and multiple teamsExperiencein design, production, and build processes (e.G.
