Big Night Entertainment Group- Restaurant Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities As a Restaurant Manager, a typical day might include the following: Managing operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness Prepares service and production staff schedules in accordance with forecasted business volume.

Responsible to alter production and employee needs with the varying daily business volume Identifying operational opportunities to build sales and control costs; develop and implement plans to address opportunities Exhibits high performance standards and ensures all nightclub team members are providing exceptional service to patrons Performs nightly check outs and audits Investigate and resolve service/food quality complaints Supervise associates daily activities; assign responsibilities and provide clear / concise instructions while offering suggestions for increased productivity Enforces established safety practices and ensures quality standards are maintained Accountable for all sales and operating transactions in compliance with the policies and procedures Provide a positive, fun working environment for associates Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise 20-30 subordinate FOH employees per shift Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems Skills/Qualifications This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications: Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a full food and beverage, high volume upscale and/or club environment required High School Diploma required.
