AT&T: Technical Sales Consultant Ii – (Education)

Be a part of an exciting opportunity to create a new Education focused vertical on AT& Ts Public Sector team This newly formed organization will focus on engaging with and understanding K-12 and Higher Education customer needs, identifying business partners, expanding AT& Ts overall presence in the market, and delivering solutions.

To become a trusted advisor to Education centric organizations and institutions, this team will require experienced sales leaders to focus on positioning and deal shaping of opportunities.

As we rapidly and strategically build a best-in-class Sales organization, our team will consist of Education specialists driving innovation within the segment and helping customers capitalize on and understand recent Congressional stimulus funding.

AT& T is hiring Technical Sales Consultant II The TSC 2 functions as a seasoned seller / consultant and facilitator of the most sophisticated network and communication discussions in conjunction with the Education sales team.

The TSC-2 role requires an in-depth understanding of network, IT, and wireless technologies sufficient to support network design, solutioning and to successfully integrate and position a variety of AT& T products with Education customers.

High level of interest in current and evolving tech at an industry level and being able to articulate AT& T differences in contrast to competitors.

Skillful in navigation of the intricacies of AT& T internal process, contracting, pricing, resources and systems.

Partners with Sales leadership and educates and participates in training and development of sales team in technical acumen, product positioning and sales process.

Assists in sales strategy, prospecting and collaborates with sellers to create complex customer proposals and presentations.

Acts as a resource to the organization and mentors top sellers and technical sellers across the business.

Demonstrates Subject Matter Expertise in key competencies and requires high level knowledge of AT& T Business Portfolio andcapability to identify multi-faceted opportunities and engage appropriate/specialized internal resources if TSC scope of work is exceeded Ideal candidate has Advanced Degree in Computer Science/Technical and or SDWAN Certification, SDN/NFV Certification or Certified Wireless Network Professional.

Experience with technical solution development for k12, erate, and Higher Education is a plus.
