Aston Carter: Accounts Payable Manager

Job Description:The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee staff in the overall daily operations of the Accounts Payable Department for all aspects of expense and other payables, coordinate modification testing and implementation to accounts payable systems; provide support to external auditors; and initiate and implement improvements to processes.

The manager and team will complete month-end close, reconciliations, and reconciliation of related accounts.

The role will be responsible for reporting of Key Performance indicators as developed.Oversee all daily accounts payable functions and supervise departmental personnel, in all aspects of accounts payable, including vouching invoices, 3-way match for maintenance, credit card activity, and monitoring expense reports and petty cash.

Includes preparation and filing of required reports, including 1099s, and payments to all vendors, organizations, and employees; as well as assigning and prioritizing tasks as defined by the Corporate Controller.Process disbursements, ACH & Wire transfers on banking site.

(international/domestic)Maintain collections spreadsheet for contractor reimbursement of training.Supervise, train, and develop accounts, payable staff.Identify and coordinate process improvement initiatives and monitor controls within functional areas.
