Associate Product Manager

The Analytics business unit at FactSet is responsible for developing and marketing industry-leading tools for portfolio management, quantitative research, risk, performance & attribution, and execution management across the investment lifecycle. Our clients include the world’s largest asset managers, asset owners, and insurance companies.The Fixed Income product management group is responsible for bond & derivative valuations and analytics across the entire global, investable fixed income universe. Product management between sales, clients, research, and software engineering to lead a unified effort in producing industry-leading, competitive products that meet the needs of our clients. You will become one of a key group of people who make a significant contribution to FactSet’s overall product offering.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate Product Manager will serve as an internal and external go-to resource for bond analytics and valuation. The applicant will also be expected to lead prioritization and planning of the product with a business mindset to help grow FactSet’s presence in buyside fixed income managers and asset owners.Responsibility will be for multiple sectors of the global bond universe as part to the core fixed income analytics offering at FactSet. Examples are convertible bonds, inflation-linked bonds, corporate, government, agency, municipal and preferred securities. Close collaboration with the fixed income and risk research group are critical in developing product enhancements and new pricing/valuation models.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience and expertise in specific sectors of the global bond universeDeep knowledge of fixed income markets, yield curves, bond math, option pricing, fixed income analytics & sensitivity calculationsUnderstanding of the fixed income investment lifecycle and how our clients operateAbility to work as part of a global, distributed organizationExcellent communication and presentation skills, including working directly with clients

QUALIFICATIONS
