Job Summary: 

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager who will oversee the design, development, launch and iteration of Ruggable’s operations apps.

The Associate Product Manager will be a foundational member of the Operations team and serve as a key player in Ruggable’s growth.

The position will be based either in our headquarters in Los Angeles, CA or also Chicago, IL. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Play an integral role in defining the short-term and long-term technology strategy for Ruggable’s suite of products. 
  • Determine key KPIs for the team and drive those metrics to the next level.
  • Oversee planning, execution, testing, and overall success of technical projects.
  • Work directly with engineers to launch new products and features, test performance, and iterate quickly meanwhile bridging the gap with other key stakeholders. 
  • Work cross-functionally with leaders across operations to create processes that solve complex challenges and are built to scale

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

  • Technical Background (Bachelor’s Degree: computer science, or mechanical/industrial engineering, business or related field)
  • 1-3+ years of product management experience at a consumer tech company
  • Proficiency in the Atlassian Suite: Jira, Confluence, OpsGenie
  • Background in managing and leveraging a wide variety of third party systems (Shopify, Optimizely, Heap, LogRocket, Google Analytics etc.)
  • Ability to write clear UAT scenarios and/or acceptance criteria 
  • Feel comfortable using SQL to quickly analyze different datasets to drive key KPIs
  • Ability to quickly mock up product ideas using Figma, Sketch or another design software
  • Product Owner Certification is a plus
  • Define and drive the operations technology vision and roadmap for Ruggable’s operations technology team
  • Comfortable storytelling the “Why” of a feature and/or epic to developers
  • Experience writing stories, specifications and partnering closely with technology teams, running backlog groomings and prioritizing sprints
  • Ability to define clear success criteria for testing and lead UAT and Beta launches with key users
  • Experience understanding and analyzing data pipelines, algorithms, apis and automated systems
  • Exceptional communication skills, with ability to collaborate with engineers, designers and functional stakeholders; proven ability to provide the voice of the customer
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a strategic approach to problem-solving
  • Self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
  • Comfortable looking beyond the backlog to create new opportunities
