Associate Operations Manager

The Associate Operations Manager position will be key to our growing DIY Divorce product initiatives. We’re looking for a problem solver who is eager to dive into complex divorce research, synthesize findings to inform business operations, and design systems to scale our products.

In this role, you will drive the creation and iteration of core product materials, including our divorce forms library and filing service operations. You are agile, detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders. You feel comfortable navigating unfamiliar topics, and collaborating to bring forward new solutions efficiently.

The Associate Operations Manager will be joining a fast-paced and high-impact team, engaging daily with our Divorce Editor, Forms Developers, and Operations team members. The role reports to the Divorce Operations Supervisor, and will collaborate closely with a peer Associate Operations Manager. The role will also manage 2 part-time Operations Interns.

Responsibilities:

Research, analyze, and report on state, county, and court-specific divorce requirements
Design operational workflows and product materials for new state launches based on local divorce requirements and business objectives
Identify and propose product improvements to scale operational systems
Translate research findings into necessary form updates for the Forms Developers
Utilize Nolo’s family law consultant network to identify and close project gaps
Train Customer Service & Fulfillment teams on operational flows to support new state launches

Requirements:

BA/BS degree
1+ year of professional experience
Proficiency in Google Suite (Documents, Slides, Sheets, etc.) or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Enthusiasm for fast-paced and highly collaborative team environments
Strong project management skills: experience managing timelines, stakeholders, and complex deliverables
Bonus: professional experience in service-based businesses, operations, etc.
Bonus: experience or interest in family law environments/work
