Associate Director, Training & Development

Job Summary

The Associate Director of Training and Development is responsible for supporting the learning

and development objectives for the Arcutis field sales organization.

This role will develop and execute training plans and learning curriculum to enhance knowledge, competencies, and engagement for the Commercial teams.

This outstanding individual will partner with leaders across the Arcutis organization to drive a culture of best-in-class learning for meeting performance, competency, compliance, and business needs.

Initiatives will include launch readiness, new hire training, advanced and recurrent training, management training as well as additional development programs based on the needs of the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Training, and Internal Stakeholders to incorporate key business drivers and sales directives into learning objectives that will maximize sales effectiveness Support the development and execution of relevant, effective training objectives, content, resources, and processes to advance product & technical knowledge for meeting brand and performance objectives Deliver timely updates to learning curriculum and training materials that reflect ongoing training objectives for changes to product offerings, industry and market demands Frequent facilitation with effective delivery during training programs and strategic meetings Coordinate vendor management to execute training objectives while successfully maintaining timelines, budgets, and effective working relationships Manage appropriate review processes to meet timing & distribution of projects and materials Analyze/assess the performance strength of training deliverables through measured evaluations Support framework for selling and coaching that includes professional development, learning opportunities, and training resources for the field sales organization

Education & Licenses and Experience
BA/BS in related field from an accredited (4) year college or university Advanced business and/or life science degree is a plus 5+ years sales experience with a proven track record of successful sales performance within pharmaceutical or healthcare industry sales Experience in corporate training or field sales training roles

Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective strategic training plans including multi-phase learning and comprehensive curriculum Ability to effectively develop and deliver impactful training presentations and workshops to engage cross-functional teams, stakeholders and diverse audiences with measurable results Clear track record of managing multiple projects involving cross-functional stakeholders, business objectives, and timelines Business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the rapidly changing biopharmaceutical industry and healthcare marketplace Exhibits initiative to identify learning needs, formulate training plans, and execute appropriate strategies Excellent written, verbal, & interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with varied department, management, & audience levels (including presentation skills) Strong understanding of training technologies and their optimal uses Enhanced organizational, prioritization, and business planning abilities Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team Experience launching new products Willingness and ability to travel as much as 30% including overnight attendance at Training programs, Sales Meetings, and Arcutis events
