We’re growing Become a vital member of our team and our growth.Basic Description:Our small, but well-equipped Art Department is looking for an organized, dedicated, and detail-oriented creative to join our production team, lead by example, and make a positive impact.

In this role you would act both as a leader and a senior individual contributor to product packaging, photographs, catalogs, videos, and other print and online promotional materials.

You will help to guide the team, distribute and monitor work, and manage the recurring creative works that build and support our growing brands.

It is a hard-working, friendly environment that requires a good attitude and the desire to be recognized for doing excellent work in collaboration with others.Job Responsibilities:Partner with the Art Director to ensure consistency of quality and vision.Individually execute designs for product packaging (including user
– guides and product labeling), sales materials, digital catalogs, and digital design for online content and social media.Design and implement print and video display elements for our tradeshow booths.Produce concepts and art direction, developing storyboards with minimal assistance.Assist with product photography and video production.Mentor, help lead, and work closely with cross functional team members to produce on-brand design assets that support business objectives and marketing goals.Understand the evolving competitive landscape, work to create concepts or other benchmark assets that set the bar and inspire others.Creatively solve visual problems in collaboration with the broader creative team including with the Product Development, eCommerce/Online, and Software Development teams.Take creative ownership over projects from concept to completion.Present ideas and concepts to senior management and stakeholders and incorporate feedback when needed.Own the production timeline and ensure that all project tasks and asset deliverables are completed to specification, pixel-perfect, and on-time.RequirementsBasic Requirements:Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent art portfolio.5 years professional experience in a lead graphic design role or related position.Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite including: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.Expert level skills in photograph retouching.Ability to learn and apply new knowledge and skills quickly.Proficiency with Digital SLR cameras including comfort or experience working in a studio setting.A keen attention to detail, and a desire to continually collaborate, create, develop, and grow creative initiatives.Thrive under ambiguity and ability to juggle multiple projects at once.An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating an excellent eye for graphic design and/or photography (including color, layout, and typography).Preferred Qualifications:Experience as the creative lead on video-based projects.An intermediate knowledge and skills of current web design principles.Experience with software collaboration, project management, or other digital organizational tools.BenefitsDuring these difficult times, as we ease our way back into the office by exceeding State and Local Government Safety Requirements, this position will report full-time to our HQ in Westlake Village, CA.Our staff works hard and plays hard too.
