Assistant General Manager

Salary: $85,000 to $95,000
Package: Bonus + benefits (100% coverage) + parking
We are working with a very reputable company based out of Los Angeles. Our client is on the hunt for a talented and experienced Assistant General Manager who is a self-starter with a great attitude! This company values personality and drive over experience alone, and they are looking for someone who is eager to rise up the ranks and develop with them. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant General Manager to work with a Michelin Star chef and join an award-winning team.
The Ideal Assistant General Manager Candidate:
- Will have a minimum of three years manager experience in a fine-dining restaurant
- Ideally would have knowledge of beverage programs
- Worked in large teams (80-100 staff)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Proven career stability
- Enjoys being hands on and working with large teams
- Results driven and financially savvy
The Assistant General Manager Role:
- Work alongside the GM and is responsible for the day to day running of the restaurant
- Involved with planning organizing, training and financial aspects of the restaurant
- Ensuring systems, policies and procedures are being followed and met
- Maintains the highest standards of food, service, health and safety
- Trains, coaches, and develops team
- Assists with beverage program
- Hands on with a large floor presence
