Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Act as the primary point of contact for the client’s commercial kitchen equipment and building systems supporting this equipment at multiple sitesPerform onsite kitchen inspections at multiple sites, while documenting and tracking deficiencies through completionAchieve cost savings through maximizing utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors and identifying additional efficienciesManage vendor relationship while coordinating equipment repairs and maintenanceDevelop proactive operations programs and recommend appropriate engineering support functionsEstablish and implement procedures for prompt and courteous response to all employee generated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting or other technical issuesParticipate in after hours on-call rotation for facilities emergenciesProvide information and direct input for major fiscal activities, including budget preparation, financial planning, and variance analysisCarry out other duties as assigned by supervisorsQualificationsMinimum Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionThree or more years of experience in facilities or management support positionWorking knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, and Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing systems is preferredExcellent written/verbal communication skillsStrong computer skills in Word, Outlook, Excel, or other facility management systemsSet appropriate priorities and meet deadlinesApply principles of rational systems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsPossess initiative to assume additional responsibilities Hines is a privately owned global real estate investment firm founded in 1957 with a presence in 240 cities in 27 countries.
