Job Overview:The key function of the Assistant Club Manager will be to help the Club Manager run the day to day operations of the club. The Assistant Club Manager will be an active participant of the team and will lead by example by providing a warm, engaging, up-beat and positive energy while serving all Members, Guests, and team mates throughout the entire club.Responsibilities:The Assistant Club Manager will support the Club Manager in the following:Drive sales through successful tour execution and lead generation activityExecute all initiatives that support the delivery of the Blink member experienceManage the staff on day to day performanceAssist in driving Personal Training revenueInterview, hire, train and develop new staff membersThe Assistant Club Manager will be directly responsible for:Conduct weekly inventory, including retail, beverage, marketing collateral and maintenance suppliesPlace monthly supply orders and retail orders as needed via the Blink web portalCreate Front Desk and Maintenance schedulesOrder drinks weeklyManage entire cash reconciliation and deposit processReceive and adjust all retail inventory via club management softwareComplete onboarding of all new associatesTeam Responsibilities:Facilitate new Member sign up and Guest trial transactionsMaintain our levels for cleanliness and organization of all areas in the ClubMaintain high visibility throughout the ClubEnsure the safety of Members, Guests and TeamWe take pride and have funQualifications:Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional settingMinimum one (1) year management/key holder/MOD experience in a customer service businessProven ability to direct and train teamExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPossess honesty and personal integrityEnthusiastic, energetic, friendly and personablePassionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industryCurrent CPR/AED certificationComputer literate on the Microsoft SuiteHardworking and diligentExcellent time management, organizational, problem solving and follow-up skillsCompany Overview:Founded in 2011 by executives at Equinox, Blink Fitness is a premium quality, value-based fitness brand with more than 100 locations open or in development throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California.
