ARSOF Training Management Office Supervisor (TMOS)

Job Title: Training Management Office Supervisor (TMOS), Army Special Operations Forces Training Support (ARSOF)Job Description: The TMOS supervises a cell that supports all phases of training and all courses.

Portions are primarily for “Pineland” and Robin Sage support, but those personnel will support other courses as well.

Training support provides the depth and realism necessary to portray an adaptable training environment that focuses on achieving a desired outcome.Work Locations: Central North Carolina, in and around Camp Mackall and Fort Bragg.

Primary work location/office is located at Camp Mackall.Major Responsibilities: Supported by an ACLC Program Management Office (PMO) and working directly for the Program Manager (PM), perform the following major duties:Manage a dynamic application of human and physical infrastructure, language, culture, and scenario-based training, unmatched in depth and substance, integrated into all phases and aspects of the qualification courseManage the building of a well-educated and professionally trained force with the intuitive abilities to work through and with indigenous host nation or partner nation forces.Improve training by providing a realistic environment that accurately reflects current operational realities and enables adaptive application of lessons learned through scenario-based trainingEffectively interface with the Government’s COR and Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR) and other major stakeholders Comply with all Federal, State, Local, and safety regulations; ensure that all assigned personnel understand applicable weapons safety policies and directivesRequired Qualifications:Have a Special Forces background with a minimum total of 15 years of military/professional experience in program management related positions including at least five (5) years of experience as a program manager managing a contractor workforce in support of a DoD contract of comparable size, scope, and complexityMust possess at least five (5) years of experience in exercise planning and logistical support within Special Forces, preferably to the USAJFKSWCS.

Must have been a Program Manager within the last five yearsA Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management from an accredited university or college, or at least 15 years of Special Forces experienceS.

No current or pending legal action that will hinder their ability to perform their dutiesA personnel security clearance of SECRET or higherExceptional ability to manage multiple schedules and cross level resourcesAble to perform in an austere field environment during all weather conditions, day and night, during field dutiesPersonnel may be required to communicate by FM, HF, and/ or Motorola type radio IAW Army communications procedures and medical evacuation procedures.

They also may be required to send, receive, and record FM and HF communications trafficWhile assigned transportation tasks and responsibilities, personnel shall possess a valid driver’s license, personal automobile insurance as required under North Carolina law, to include occupying or driving Army Motor Vehicles such as a GSA 15-passenger van, 1/2 and 3/4 ton two-wheel and four-wheel drive trucks, as well as cargo vans and their civilian equivalents on and off-road under all weather conditions Able to navigate on roads and cross-country using military or civilian maps, road signs, landmarks and/ or directions provided by the Cadre or members of the Chain of CommandAre of good health and cleared by a medical physician (physical examination) to perform in this positionPreferred Qualifications:MS degreePrior ARSOF contract experienceEmployment Conditions: Salaried, Exempt
