Budget Wireless is looking for an ambitious individual who is willing to contribute to a growing fast-paced small business in the Retail Wireless Industry. We currently own and operate 90+ retail locations for Cricket Wireless a subsidiary of AT&T. The qualified candidate must be able to manage multiple Locations Sales, Operations, Staffing, and work either independently or in small teams to accomplish tasks. Strengths of the successful candidate must include the ability to multi-task, strong organization skills, Strong Communication Skills.
Summary: This position is responsible for building, developing, maintaining, and overseeing the sales of the organization?s products and services within a specified region or major geographical area. This position provides input and participates in the recruiting, marketing, market planning, and development of personnel, processes, production, and profit of their region. This position requires a high threshold for multi-tasking between several priorities, utilizing resources to facilitate completion of all tasks, and confirming with upper management regarding completion of assignments in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1. Up-to-date knowledge of Cricket carrier requirements, research market, region, and location-specific needs to position our products and services in an effective manner.
2. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of Budget Wireless and Cricket products, services, systems, and departments.
3. Doing market research to determine industry trends, customer needs, the store?s specific needs as it relates to staff, products, and services in order to position them in the most effective manner.
4. Determining marketing strategies & implementation plan to maximize positioning of these products and services.
5. Obtaining and coordinating data & information from staff to better fit customer needs and maximize productivity.
6. Establishing and maintaining industry contacts that will increase knowledge, help maintain day-to-day operations, and increase the productivity of the sales staff.
7. Recruiting, training, developing and holding sales staff accountable for their results.
8. Actively seeking the right talent level for their locations by recruiting personnel. Area Managers are required to recruit a minimum of 1 qualified candidate every week. These candidates must be referred to the Regional Managers in the same week.
9. Training the existing and new staff on all policies and procedures, products and services offered, customer and client relationships needed, commission structures, and other requirements for their development
10. Actively inspecting to ensure all policies and procedures are being followed, employees are engaged and productive, and all stores are meeting, if not exceeding operating standards.
11. Holding Sales Representative accountable so that established sales quotas and revenue goals are met on a daily, weekly, semi-weekly and monthly basis.
12. Communicating all business requirements and changes to ensure that store managers and salespeople are up to date with the most current information and business drivers.
13. Review and provide an action plan for improvement on the progress reports.
14. Holding salespeople accountable for following all inventory and cash management guidelines on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
15. Participate in salesforce forecasting and planning in an effective manner:
16. Researching, developing & maintaining long and short term sales and marketing plans for all existing and new products offered
17. Monitoring, analyzing, and communicating sales data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to store managers and sales staff.
18. Developing sales and marketing proposals for customers in conjunction with Regional Manager, if and when required.
19. Planning for special sales building events and hosting these events as and when required for sales production and community awareness.
20. Communicating with carrier representatives for all required sales codes and applications for the sales staff.
21. Inspecting all store schedules, paperwork, and compliance items on a daily basis during store visits. Area Managers are responsible for conducting mock store operational audits, following the RM daily visit summary guide, and participating in sales, operations, and marketing planning calls.
22. Communicating all needs (sales, operations, maintenance, compliance) to the relevant departments, collaborating within 24 business hours to ensure completion, and following up within 72 business hours to confirm all needs have been fulfilled.

30. Assisting stores to ensure compliance with the Cricket program requirements, including merchandising requirements.
31. Assist, train, or perform physical inventory counts.
