Reports directly to CEO & President Responsible for directing and controlling all warehouse distribution activities to ensure, primarily, that accurate records are maintained, Incoming product and out going shipments are accurately documented and complete.Acts as a primary communications link between the office administration and our staff members and customers.
Prefer experience with kitchenware, housewares, general merchandise.
Roles & Responsibilities:1.
Ensures employees abilities to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage areas.
Monitors the unloading of all materials into the Receiving area.2.
Ensure that the safest and most economical methods are employed to store and distribute parts.
Ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensures receiving reports are accurately reported, material received.
packing slips, and receiver reports3.
Monitors the flow of paperwork from Receiving to Inventory Control for timely data entry.
Oversees the movement of material from receiving to the warehouse in an efficient, effective, and safe manner4.
Coordinates activities of employees concerned with picking product and preparing it for shipping both national and international destinations.
Ensure correct shipment of international and national orders.
Responsible for all warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities.5.
Maintain location records for all product in Warehouse and Receiving6.
Maintain work loads at a level consistent with the shipping goals.7.
Monitor procedures and report problem patterns, poor areas of control, or other violations that will result in inaccurate inventory reports.8.
Maintain good housekeeping and safe and healthful working conditions in all areas of responsibility9.
Enforce all safety rules and regulations established as Company policy.Job Requirements:Education: Preferably Associates Degree or higher.Experience: Five or more years of related warehouse experience in a warehouse with a high-volume environment.
Experience in general merchandise warehouse environment is desirable.
Computer knowledgeKnowledge: Position requires a good working knowledge of warehouse duties.
Must have basic knowledge of assigned product lines – general merchandise, and/or seasonal items.
Must have good understanding of warehouse duties and inventory.
Skills & Abilities: Position requires good verbal communication skills.
Must have good numerical skills and demonstrated ability to apply knowledge and methods.
Preferably bi-lingual English/Spanish.
