THE OPPORTUNITY: SITE SUPERINTENDENT ?
LOS ANGELESAragon Construction Management Corp.
is seeking a Site Superintendent for our Los Angeles division that has experience in multi-family wood frame construction and is capable of interpreting project documents.
The right candidate will be adept at delegating daily tasks and managing the site team?s efficiency while maintaining protocol and safety.ResponsibilitiesMonitor work performance and efficiency of site work force to ensure project plans and schedule are followed such that the project is executed efficiently and safely.Prepare daily/weekly reports outlining progress of activities underway and identifying activities anticipated to commence and/or be complete in a two-week look ahead period.Oversee and direct site personnel required for the project.On-site assessment prior to commencing work to ensure that the job is ready and addressing any concerns.Review all drawings, specifications and subcontractor scopes and report any discrepancies to the Project Manager.Review construction schedule and ensure that all trades and suppliers are aware of critical dates.Maintain communication with Project Manager, consultants, and inspectors throughout the construction process.Assume direct responsibility to ensure the quality of construction, products and finishes are at an acceptable level and adhere to the project documents.Communicate with subcontractors and field staff to ensure adherence to schedules, plans, and specifications.Keep management current on the status of any issue(s) that may impact the work being performed.Ensuring crew compliance with project policies and procedures.Periodically reassess daily goals to meet forecasted production.Be a team player and respect all site/office personnel.RequirementsBilingual English/HispanicMust have worked at least 7 years in a Site Superintendent roleExperience building woodframe multi-family Aragon offers a great environment that fosters innovative thinking and gives members of our team an exciting, rewarding work experience.
