The Role You’ll PlayAre you a collaborative global trade compliance manager, ready to make a big contribution to an industry-leading company?

If so, this Global Trade Compliance Manager position might be a great next step for you!Taking a proactive approach, you will manage customs broker relationships while working directly with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive trade compliance globally.

You will lead a team of two analysts to perform regular audits of the systems and processes related to procurement and customs and find areas for continuous improvement and cost savings.

You will put processes into place to increase data accuracy and collection.Working closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, transportation, IT, sales, and supply chain, you will manage a compliant, steady flow of critical supply to the manufacturing sites.

Who You AreDeeply experienced in HTS classification, especially for product manufacturing.Thoroughly understanding of the role of a Customs Broker, comfortable interacting with domestic and foreign government agencies.Well able to manage foreign suppliers vis a vis US import requirements, ensuring uninterrupted flow of supply.Proactive approach, rather than reactive, to foresee and avoid problems arising.Intentional about building relationships with other departments and fostering strong cross-functional communication and collaboration.

Including:At least one year of management experienceKnowledge of US Customs rules and regulations, requiredUSMCA and other FTA experience.US Customs Broker’s License requiredBachelor’s degree or equivalent, requiredThis is an in-office role at the Franklin, TN company headquarters.Must be willing to travel up to 15%, especially at the beginning for training, including international travel.

This will be occasional travel for events like supplier audits and industry conferences.
