Job Description: The Vice President of Sales will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee the sales and business operation and customer activities in the organization, to meet the current and future needs of the organization.
Responsible for leading sales performance that drives continuous revenue growth and market share during a period of significant growth and transformation.
Manage all aspects of sales relations, support, and service to develop the organization’s sales and growth strategy to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures the development and growth of a long-term partnership that profitably grows ATS brand position, market share on an enterprise-wide basis.
Direct full range of sales activities for the assigned area through the sales team.Primary ResponsibilitiesIdentify and implement strategies to achieve sales ATS revenue goals and objectivesSet short and long-term priorities and develops annual goals while adhering to budgeting, forecasting, and financial control processesConduct sales review with each assigned region to address market-specific tactics, revise forecasts, and support the achievement of customers’ objectives.Monitor performance to meet expense and revenue objectivesProviding day-to-day leadership and direction to the Business Unit members in maintaining and expanding customer relationships and meeting revenue and margin goals within the business unit.Partnering with Business Unit members to ensure timely and effective submissions for RFPs and rate adjustments.Proactively identifying and effectively addressing operational issues/challenges that negatively affect business performance.Develop and implement effective sale plans and programs to drive growth, generate revenue, and increase market shareEstablish goals, targets, and forecasts that ensure business solutions implemented are with intent and considerationEstablish and maintain high-level, executive contact with accounts, focusing on the establishment and maintenance of strategic relationshipsManage the execution of sales processes and leverage appropriate resources to drive sales objectives.
Responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new account sales.Build and develop a high performing sales teamEvaluate market activity and business intelligence, and recommend action plans as neededDeveloping and coaching indirect reports to effectively support key customer relationships.
Provide effective performance management via the establishment of objectives, measurement, and feedback relative to those performance objectives.
Attract, retain and motivate the team to maintain an engaging work environment and to ensure ATS policies and procedures are adhered to in a safe working environment.A collaborative and effective communicator able to drive strategic initiatives across airline partners to build trust and foster positive relationships to ensure customer satisfaction with service.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:BACKGROUND QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 10 years of sales experience within the aviation industry.Minimum 10 years operations experience in the aviation industry or bachelor’s degree in Business.Minimum 15 years progressive management experience with responsibility for large organizations and multiple direct reports.Proven ability to develop, maintain and grow key customer relationships at the C-suite level.Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, coach, and retains talented professionals whether as direct reports or indirect reports.
Proven success in leading sales teams.Demonstrated keen financial acumen to include profit analysis and pricing build-up.Demonstrated leadership talent, with the ability to motivate all levels of employees.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire trust and confidence with employees at all levels.Strong ability to execute against strategy, with an eye towards cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Proven success in managing, organizing, and/or completing multiple tasks and priorities.Strong problem-solving ability.Ability to travel up to 50%Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with technology (i.E.
