You’ll very quickly discover that we are all about our customers and people.Are you a result driven high performing sales professional with extensive Leisure & Corporate sales skills?Do you thrive in a busy environment, looking for that next development challenge?We are looking for a National Account Manager Leisure, Corporate & Speciality Channels to join the Air New Zealand Sales Team based in New York.You will strategically manage an assigned portfolio of national accounts, including multi-agent TMC partners, contracted leisure accounts, and direct corporate clients, on a national and multinational basis.This role is of critical importance for Air New Zealand, emphasis on account engagement, influencing key account management decision makers, with a view on driving additional revenue, market share and preferred business relationships.
This position will oversee the North America East territory, looking after existing clients as well as managing and building a pipeline of new business opportunities.
This role will also be responsible for representing Air New Zealand at industry or partner events within the assigned territory.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in sales planning, sales strategy and commercial analysis, with a demonstrated ability to leverage data integration software skills including analysis of internal/external data sources such as Prism, MIDT, Microsoft CRM and other B2B/B2C data providers.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, bachelor’s degree required.
Experience managing Leisure, Corporate, TMC accounts is highly preferred in addition to a strong existing market network.
