The Agile Management Office Leader will provide support of the portfolio of agile software projects, coaching and mentoring the organization on the Agile approach (fixed time and budget but flexible scope vs.

fixed scope) as well as enabling a regular visibility into progress being made across the portfolio of projects.

Similar to a PMO leader, this role is enabling tracking of progress across projects but with a significant difference in focus on culture to enable the flexibility for adoption of scope along the way, critically needed for software projects that tend to be faster paced than traditional hardware projects.

nn n A Day in the Life nn Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

nn nn A central aspect of this role will be facilitating the cultural shift necessary for an AMO vs.

a traditional PMO.

The leader will set the tone for this new culture, working with the project teams on reporting out appropriately and working with critical stakeholders to help with the cultural change.

The objective is to implement a monthly “heartbeat” across all of our software projects.

nn Drives the cultural transformation in our project teams regularly reporting out program status as well as in our stakeholder groups to facilitate a continuous deliver methodology in concert with the Engineer teams running Agile.

Coaches project teams as well as business (OU) stakeholders in how to properly demonstrate progress, enable swift decision making on scope, where needed, and enable a higher degree of agility in our program execution approach.

Enables early stage ideation process for faster iterations with OU stakeholders prior to a formal project commitment and execution.

Ideations could be unmet need ideations as well as business case evaluations well before a software project gets kicked off.

Facilitates the review of status of projects, schedules and budgets, including project issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives at the highest level.

Clearly communicate program vision and facilitate overseeing multiple, simultaneous task orders to ensure outstanding tactical and operational execution of services, creating transparency.

Ensure senior management in CRM and OUs is engaged and familiar with program direction.

Facilitate portfolio progress updates through the life-cycle of the software projects, from initiation to closure, focusing on Agile.

Provide leadership, coaching, and clear instructions to Project Managers responsible for the agile execution of software projects.

Collaborate with the PMO on overarching process improvements to ensure existing processes and new agile processes for software projects fit together.

Provide guidance and improvements to our processes such as QMS and PDP to optimize the execution for software related projects and the portfolio.

Identify the change backlog and to improve execution and work with cross-functional teams to implement those changes so we iterate and continuously improve our AMO.

Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for new product development and ongoing lifecycle management of products, processes and therapies.

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

Manages the development and implementation process of a company’s products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products and processes.

Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.

Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Gathers requirements, works on requirements planning, requirements elicitation and requirements management to ensure they meet demands of project’s key stakeholders.

Communicates with stakeholders, obtains stakeholder engagement to ensure the end products or processes will solve the business problems.

nn Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree required Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial experience 10+ years of medical device development management (Medical Device Research & Development, Healthcare or Consumer IT, or healthcare technology environment) Experience transforming an organization from a waterfall to Agile culture Strategic (Forward) thinker one that brings ideas to the table that enhance customer performance; ability to grasp vision and objectives of program and build game plan and execute 10+ years of Program Management Experience 5+ years of Systems Integration Experience with a large company in an agile environment Nice to Have PMP Certification Agile Certification(s) Healthcare/CMS experience is preferred Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

Ability to work in a team environment and have sound judgment.

Attention to detail, quick learner, have a positive attitude, ability to multi-task, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Possess critical thinking skills, reading and interpretation, writing, and communication skills.

Understanding and wide application of methodology and subject matter related concepts, practices, standards and procedures with a general knowledge of other related business disciplines.

Able to work closely with all project stakeholders such as business users, project managers, and business analysts while delivering solutions.

Works with limited supervision.
