This role requires the individual to define the overall program, the scope, implementation roadmap and finalize the overarching business outcomes to-be achieved from this program.

They need to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, keep the project and implementation teams accountable on deliverables and work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment and program success.

This role requires strategic thought leadership in enabling business processes, acumen of information flow across multiple systems, and managerial skills to govern the data creation/maintenance process.The ideal candidate will need both a technical and business understanding SAP ERP along with experience with data analytics and visualization.

The candidate should also have expertise in Supply Chain & Operations processes.Key Responsibilities:Formulate an operations-wide strategy to re-design SAP master data management.

Define the program, the scope, the timelines, and business outcomes to-be achievedCollaborate closely with the enterprise-MDM team to ensure holistic end to end use cases related to MDM are considered and reviewedPartner and actively collaborate with digital programs that have master data as a dependency to unlock full business objectives defined by the respective initiativesEstablish an end-to-end governance process to ensure continued data qualityDevelop and implement policies, guidelines, business definitions, metrics, and standards for handling operations data including Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, Distribution and/or Finance data elementsAnalyze data and Identify business processes impacting or impacted by data qualityCollaborate with cross functional teams to unlock new data elements that support business processes enhancements and strategic decision makingImprove KPIs pertaining to data accuracy and process SLA adherenceGovern and evolve current data integration standards policies and proceduresDescription:Remote position.The Senior Manager, Data Acquisition works in partnership with U.S.

Commercial Information Management Director and Senior Manager, Data Integration & Strategy to develop andoversee a comprehensive U.S.

Commercial Systems and Data Governance program that ensures centralized data acquisition and integration management across all U.S.

Commercial functions and systems.This role will need to collaborate effectively across key functions within U.S.

Commercial (i.E.

Sales, Marketing, Managed Markets, etc.) as well as other key corporate functions including but not limited to: IS, Compliance, HR and Procurement (GSS), to ensureJob Responsibilities (include but not limited to):Acquisition and management of all data assets for U.S.

Commercial OrganizationLeads Data Acquisition Operating team, charged with ongoing management of data assets across U.S.

CommercialDefines data purchasing strategy and policy in partnership with Senior Leadership TeamManage the development and maintenance of the U.S.

Commercial Data repository, which will maintain an up-to-date inventory of all data assets and relevant information about how to leverage and access the dataAdvises commercial stakeholders on existing data assets and how they can be leveraged for analysis/insight generation; advises on differences in data collection methodologiesPartners with the Data Integration team to ensure data availability in all appropriate systems based on evaluation of how the data will be leveraged by the end user.Optimize usage of data assets across U.S.

Commercial by ensuring broad, timely communication of available data sourcesPartner with other functions across the enterprise to effectively leverage non-commercial data assets where possibleServes as liaison between U.S.

Commercial Sales & Marketing teams and vendors, IS, Market Research, and other U.S.

Commercial functions on data related issuesEnsure requests for data are fulfilled efficiently and effectively to meet Commercial data needsDefine a standard approach for the intake of data requestsSupervise activities of Manager and data integration vendorAccountable for budget adherence Doctorate degree & 2 years of data management experience ORMaster’s degree & 6 years of data management experience ORBachelor’s degree or & 8 years of data management experience ORAssociate’s degree & 10 years of data management experience ORHigh school diploma / GED & 12 years of data management experience Deep understanding of pharmaceutical data sources and how they are used, including but not limited to sales, customer, patient, plan/payer, claims, etc.Solid business acumen and maturity.Strong communication and project management skillsExcellent diplomacy and facilitation skills; ability to influence without authority.Have an understanding of best practices across the pharmaceutical industry.Experience analyzing dataHas performed the functions in the role listed above.Ability to work successfully cross-functionally and lead cross functional teams
