Status: Full timeLocation: Korea Town Salary Range: $24.04 to $28.84 per hour DOEThe CES Liaison is an administrative position that participates in lease up activities for existing and new supportive housing communities (60%) and provides administrative support within the organization (40%). The CES Liaison is responsible for developing tools to monitor every phase of the lease up process and for problem-solving lease-up challenges. The CES Liaison will work in cooperation with multiple departments within ACOF as well as third-party property management and service partners to track building vacancies and applicant referrals. The CES Liaison provides information about the tenant selection criteria to collaborative partners and may make presentations to senior management.Under the general supervision of the Office Manager, the CES Liaison will also perform administrative tasks including creating reports, filing, and scheduling for other departments within the organization. RESPONSIBILITIESDevelops and maintains forms to organize and track leasing across the ACOF portfolio under the guidance of the Senior Asset ManagerEnsures that all phases of an applicant lease up is regularly, consistently, and accurately tracked and recorded on a daily basisReviews the RMS (Resource Management System) and CES database on a daily basis to track unit vacancies and receive referralsWorks directly with case managers and property managers to coordinate and facilitate applicant lease upAssesses average referral time from CES/RMS, unit inspections, and actual lease up on a quarterly basis Responds to community inquiries from Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) and CES lead agenciesPrepares regular reports to various entities regarding ACOF vacanciesAttends local CES Service Planning Area meetingsCreate reports, and provides administrative, filing and scheduling assistance, as neededSUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITYThe incumbent in this position has not formal supervisor responsibility.PHYSICAL ACTIVITYIn the course of performing this job, the CES Liaison typically spends time sitting (80%) standing (10%), walking and climbing stairs (10%). Individual must possess the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.RequirementsBasic QualificationsMinimum of three (3) months related work experience in a community liaison capacity with social service based organizations, homeless service providers, and mental health agencies.Minimum of three (3) years of computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook).Excellent communication skills.High School diploma or GED.Valid California Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle to conduct ACOF business.Able to meet California minimum and ACOF insurance requirements.Able to work evenings and weekends on an occasional basis.Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree in a related field or relevant coursework towards Bachelor’s degree.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with a variety of internal and external individuals with poise, tact, and diplomacy.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Bilingual (English – Spanish). Sense of humor.
