****Sr.

Production Manager****The Senior Production Manager (SPM) will oversee all manufacturing, production and assembly personnel (120 for building the company?s products as well as facilities/plant management and operations.

Together with a staff of 2 Production Supervisors and a team of production leads, the SPM will ensure that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process while monitoring employee?s workflow.

Production Supervisor will ensure that the production result in products of maximum quality at maximum profit and delivered on time.

Other duties include ensuring company policies and procedures are followed as well as assisting in the onboarding process of new hires and providing training and educational materials to staff membersEssential Duties and Responsibilities?

Ability to set daily/weekly/monthly/quarter production and revenue goals and communicating them effectively to employees and management.?

Must be highly skilled in complex hand assembly manufacturing operations and able to comprehend the nature of how cable assemblies, wire harnesses, connectors and box builds are manufactured?

Strong knowledge of organizational workflow and ability to delegate by assigning responsibilities and formulating schedules for his/her team and to the Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Sales and executive management?

Oversee Stockroom, Kitting, Shipping and Receiving.?

Supervisory skills needed to oversee employees and coach them effectively.?

Commitment to safety regarding the use of equipment and manufacturing process.?

Knowledge of all essential equipment and ability to oversee and schedule regular maintenance.?

Analytical skills to monitor production output and check for compliance with specifications.?

Ability to generate and submit reports on performance and progress.?

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to spot issues in efficiency/productivity and suggest improvements?

Strong coaching and training skills to onboard new employees, including instruction on safety, e.G.

how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.?

Making improvements to decrease rejects, increase productivity, finds cost cutting opportunities, cross training assemblers.?

Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies?

Screen, interview and manage the onboarding process of new hires?

Provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary?

Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order?

Repair or replace plant equipment as neededEducation/ Qualifications?

Experience as a Production Supervisor in operations with both high volume low mix and low volume high mix custom manufactured products.?

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred?

Current Experience working with MRP/ERP software?

Working knowledge of various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.?

In-depth understanding of hand soldering in accordance with J-STD-001 Class 3 and Cable Assembly workmanship standards per IPC-620 Class 3.?
