Join us to bring the gift of health to life.The Accounts Receivable & Credit Manager (Hybrid) is responsible for ensuring collection of accounts receivable, timely resolution and/or collection of chargebacks, and minimization of bad debt losses. This role evaluates the financial condition of new and existing customers and ensures that transactions are appropriately posted to G/L in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and customer contracts. The AR Manager reports to Accounting Operations Sr Manager and manages a team of eight. Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include: Develops technical and interpersonal skills of staff. Communications goals / objectives and measures KPIs Reviews and approves AR team’s work and assesses adequate reserve levels (e.g. Returns, OS&D, and others) Builds strong internal cross functional partnerships to resolve issues Assesses and identifies credit and collection trends that may impact cash flows, profitability and other business risk Identifies and implements improvements and efficiencies The ideal candidate is an experienced technical AR manager. You actively engage the AR team, encouraging prioritization to meet deadlines. You are a strong partner to cross-functional business partners, including IT, Sales, and Customer Finance. You’ll be most successful in this role if you have: Passion for leadership and ability to achieve results through others. Ability to effectively delegate and manage team workload through prioritization Ability to resolve conflict and create a collaborative team environment Systemic thinking and analytical techniques of financial statements Demonstrated ability to lead the team to execute high volume of work with minimal errors in a fast-paced environment In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 8 years of experience in accounting operations, prior CPG experience and deduction management experience required Previous supervisory experience required, minimum 2 years Comprehensive knowledge of credit and A/R practices along with fundamental knowledge of accounting impacts to financial statements Advanced spreadsheet knowledge and previous ERP system experience required. Annual PayAnnual Pay Range$111,700.00 – $167,500.00This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive.
