We are currently a small firm but growing at a fast pace and we need high quality talent.

We serve primarily closely-held, mid-sized companies that allows our partners and staff to experience a penumbra of issues, challenges and opportunities than those afforded by Big-4 or Top 10 Accounting Firm.

Job Title: Account Manager
– Southern California

Summary: The Account Manager will assist our CEO in covering accounts in the Southern California region

Location: Roughly up to 50% travel, about 50% Remote from home

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain relationships with current clientele as well as build new business with referrals including CPA firms and companies related to architecture, engineering and construction

· Work directly with sales owners and C-suite level leaders

· Deliver superior service to existing clients and become a trusted advisor to referral sources

· Maintain accounts and opportunities using Salesforce

· Schedule client visits, social and networking events with clients, referrals and prospects in the Southern California area including, but not limited to San Diego, Irvine, Los Angeles and surrounding areas

· Generate additional leads through conferences and networking events

Skills & Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required

· 2+ years in a client-facing sales role

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

· Time management and attention to detail

· Ability to prioritize and multi-task on a variety of tasks and projects

· Coachable and adaptable to fast-paced environments

· Self-starter, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and a good sense of humor

· Must have reliable transportation and secure work location

· Experience with CPA firms, B2B relationships and knowledge of AEC industry preferred

· Financial experience or knowledge of tax incentives a plus

· Experience with CRM or Salesforce preferred
