Account Manager, Sales Representative – Asset Owner Team

This candidate will be responsible for an assigned book of business with a focus on retaining and growing ASV (annual subscription value). There will also be the opportunity to become involved with strategic account initiatives across the entire Asset Owner book of business.

Job Description

Gain complete knowledge of assigned accounts – organizational structure, investment process, people, systems, etc.Day-to-day account management responsibilities – managing relationships, supporting client workflows, driving strategic projects, subscription/invoice maintenance, and responding to client requests.Pipeline Management – Identify areas to expand client relationships and build a robust pipeline of opportunities to grow ASV.Identify and prioritize efforts within at-risk accounts to mitigate downside risk.Maintain high volume of call, email, and meeting activity to maximize client touchpoints and pipeline coverage.Develop C-level relationships to drive deeper, more strategic client partnership.Proactively track and improve on key client metrics and sales initiatives all focused on improving usage and ASV.Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. Forecast and track key metrics on your accounts.Work closely with the Consulting, Product Specialist and Sales Management to align resources and define account strategy.Assist with training new and existing users and provide support as needed.Develop deep understanding of Asset Owner industry and client workflows and ensure that FactSet’s competitive advantages are known and utilized.Clearly articulate FactSet’s current value proposition as well as strategic plan workflows.

Requirements

At least 2 years of FactSet experience in a client-facing role; or 4+ years financial/asset owner experience.Thorough knowledge of Asset Owners and Investment Consulting clients and an understanding of how they would utilize FactSet.Desire to retain and grow a book of business.Proven ability to balance multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills and presentation abilities.
