About you:

You’ll develop meaningful relationships with companies in the mid-market & enterprise space to help them support, connect, and attract diverse talent. As our Account Manager, you will be speaking on a daily basis with executives and managers at companies across a broad range of industries. Some of our partners include: Dolby Labs, Fitbit, Wayfair, Hims, Netflix, etc. As an early team member of Valence, you’ll have the opportunity to significantly impact the growth of our company and its culture.

 

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You’ll become an expert on Valence’s product solutions and lead pitches to top executives and target partners.
  • You’ll manage day-to-day execution and client support for target partners.
  • You’ll ensure successful onboarding of partners.
  • You’ll establish lasting relationships with decision-makers and build awareness for Valence within partner organizations.
  • You’ll identify customer needs and collaborate with Valence teammates to ensure customer success with special emphasis on client engagement.
  • You’ll monitor and identify platform adoption and utilization trends and work with the team on recapping milestones for clients.
  • You’ll serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas.
  • You’ll provide an awesome customer experience to all partners across all channels, including phone, email, and live chat.
  • Respond to Partners’ concerns quickly and professionally
  • Develop high-level account management strategies to implement across the business

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a client-facing role within a high-growth, high-intensity environment
  • Highly independent and resourceful individual, comfortable with ambiguity 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to sell with authenticity and compassion
  • Experience closing sales to C-suite executives
  • Deep knowledge of trends and history within the Black business community
  • Start-up experience a plus
  • Experience with client onboarding and product implementation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
