:The Regional Manager is the representative for ABM Aviation, on a full-time basis for the Southern CA Region, reporting to the Regional Director, responsible for the janitorial and aircraft cabin cleaning operation throughout Southern CaliforniaResponsibilities:Plan, organize, direct work and evaluate the required practices, programs, and activities of the ABM Aviation personnel within assigned Region.Abide by and ensure adherence to established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures of ABM Aviation and region applicable to the facilities.Maintain close and proper liaison with ABM Aviation customers on day-to-day operational problems and assure cooperation of ABM Aviation staff.Maintain close liaison with the regional customers, handling problems of mutual concern such as, Aircraft and facility cleanliness, delays, staffing and other items relative to security and facilities.Originate and enforce standards regarding ABM Aviation employees’ personal appearance and demeanor to assure a professional, first-class operation.Be responsible for adherence to approved hiring practices and final selection and dismissal of personnel.Be responsible for achieving an acceptable level of public relations by all employees of ABM within assigned region.Initiate and direct the orientation and training of all employees to assure maximum efficiency and safety at all levels of the operation.Review all records and reports and take necessary action directly or through staff to improve the proficiency and accuracy of reports or records to remain compliant to all regulatory requirements.Responsible for the preparation and evaluation of the monthly billing and providing the required management reports for your assigned region and its Finance Department.Assure the timely submission of required operational and administrative reports to designated FP& A management and the Regional Director regarding pertinent operations activities.
Oversee all administrative activities carried on by subordinate personnel.Assure that all Workers’ Compensation Claims are processed in a timely manner.Responsible for the submission of a yearly operational budget, requesting funds for all phases of operation directly controlled by the Contractor.
Provide a budget analysis and substantiate each item’s increase or decrease from the prior year.Conduct unannounced personal inspections at various times, to observe and evaluate performance of subordinate personnel in fulfilling customer and regulatory service standards.Conduct unannounced personal audits at various times, to observe and team performance.Be responsible for compliance with all U.S.
