1 Method Center is an individualized, and abstinence-based addiction and co-occurring disorders program in Los Angeles, California.

The program is licensed by DHCS, accredited by The Joint Commission, and offers multiple levels of care, including; detoxification, residential (short, medium, long-term), and outpatient treatment.

Our clinical philosophy is rooted in evidence-based measures, and innovative neurophysiological protocols that are designed to work synergistically in order to support clients in achieving sustainable recovery, health and wellness, and reduced reliance on medications.

We are looking for a Full Time Case Manager / Therapist to work Monday through Friday.JOB SUMMARYThe Case Manager interfaces on an individual and group basis with client’s and the milieu.

The Case Manager will work within a team setting with other 1 Method staff members of the clinical team to facilitate the prompt and efficient delivery of services.DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSMeet for individual case management sessions at a minimum of twice weekly (total of 90 minutes)Communicate with resident’s family or loved ones for coordination of care and for progress updates at least one time per week, or as appropriate based on the needs of the family.Develop and complete Biopsychosocial within 48 hours of admission, identify problems to be addressed in treatment plan and email to assigned primary therapist.Develop and document treatment plan for SUD and other identified problems (within CM scope of practice; life skills, social support deficits, employment) To be completed by the client’s 7th day in treatment, documenting all progress made toward completion of goals at least one time per week.Coordinates treatment objectives for assigned residents with their primary therapist, and other pertinent staff.Document information concerning case management sessions, phone calls, e-mail, voicemail, communication with ancillary professionals, fax contacts, etc.

Documentation must include information on services provided, identified problems, resident motivation and progress, and recommendations regarding further treatment.Complete all discharge paperwork for OP clients upon discharge.Make community referrals as appropriate, and work with other clinical staff to facilitate any necessary follow-up regarding resident needs.Attends and participates in weekly clinical team meetings, residential staff meetings monthly, and weekly individual supervision with Clinical DirectorParticipate in case staffing and staff meetings, trainings, and regularly scheduled performance evaluations as requested.Abide by the CCAP Code of Ethics and other relevant licensing boards for MFT Interns and ACSW Interns (BBS)Oversee documentation in clinical section of each client chart and QA for deficiencies.Completes clinical assessment and treatment plan for assigned clients.Initiates discharge planning upon admission for assigned clients, and updates discharge plan weekly.Administer BAM outcome measurement tool on a weekly basis for all Residential and IOP clients.Completes all ancillary assessments necessary for residents in a timely manner.Administers suicide risk assessments within 24 hours if appropriate, making formal staff notifications as needed.Completes clinical flowcharts and resident weekly summaries each Friday to ensure documentation is being completed on the clinical documentation timeline.Facilitates multi-disciplinary treatment planning and updates for assigned clients for the purposes of coordination of care.Facilitates group counseling, education, and meetings per program schedule.Facilitates coordination of transportation with Director of Residential Services.Makes appropriate referrals to continuing levels of care within our system as well as to other treatment centers; following office referral protocol with an expectation of referring 75% of caseload.Provides weekly clinical progress notes for each resident on assigned caseload.Participates in Quality Improvement task groups (as assigned).Reviews/approves/revokes resident’s passes.Ensures client records for assigned case load are comprehensive, complete, neat and meet licensing standards.Completes discharge audits for each assigned resident upon discharge.Understand and apply all policies, standards, and interventions utilized by Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceMedical Specialty:Addiction MedicinePsychiatrySchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftCOVID-19 considerations:COVID-19 Vaccination is required for all employees and staff members.
